Automated Installation of DSL and VoIP Services
iConnectVoIP provides all the features of iConnectDSL with the addition of VoIP configuration, including SIP accounts and phone ports.
VoIP
iConnectVoIP automatically configures the ATA including:
- Detect and verify the connection between the user’s computer and the ATA.
- Detect and verify the connection between the user’s router/modem and the ATA.
- Configure the routing and security in the ATA device.
- Configure voice settings.
- Voice and phone details.
iConnectVoIP automatically configures the SIP details to the required ISP settings including:
- SIP Number.
- SIP Server IP address.
- SIP Domain name.
DSL
iConnectVoIP configures the DSL connection including:
- Verify the user’s computer configuration meets minimum hardware and operating system specification.
- Configure the user’s computer network access with ISP settings.
- Configure the ATA local network settings including IP address, subnet mask and DHCP.
- Configure the ATA WAN interface to the required ISP settings.
- Test the connection to the ISP.
- Configure the standard web browser with ISP settings (e.g. home page, proxy settings).
- Configure system email application with the ISP’s POP and SMTP settings.
- Secures the ATA from configuration from the public Internet.
