Introduction

Successful mass deployment of narrowband services is heavily dependent on the telecommunication solutions provider’s ability to manage the time and costs associated Service Activation assurance processes. ANTOSS is designed for use with Analogue NT and the NT1 Plus II terminating units over a telecommunications service providers ISDN infrastructure.

ANTOSS allows authorised users to carry out remote configuration of ISDN devices, retrieve status information, perform tests to support fault handling, and upgrade devices with new software over the ISDN infrastructure. ANTOSS manages services on ANT, NT1 Plus, and NT1 Plus II devices, POTS over the ISDN network, automated service provisioning and remote software upgrades. ANTOSS can be operated as a stand-alone Service Management application providing remote management of the deployed ISDN products, or integrated with the carrier’s existing Network and Service management system providing both automated service provisioning an end-to-end service assurance capability.
