In-Built Modem

A 64k/128k ISDN digital modem is integrated into the NT1 Plus II.

The modem can be set to connect to the Internet at speeds of 64k (one B-Channel) and 128k (two B-Channels). On Dynamic Voice Override the modem speed will drop from 128k to 64k in order for you to accept an incoming phone call, then return to 128k once the call is complete.

The NT1 Plus II also supports 'back to back' communications at 64k or 128k allowing private interconnection.

LED's provide instant feedback on the state of the modem.

Firmware upgrades can be automated via centralised service management.

Computer Requirements

Connection to a single computer is by USB or RS232C. Drivers are available for the following operating systems:

The Line Power and Local Power LEDs tell you whether the NT1 Plus II is correctly connected to the ISDN Network and 240VAC mains power.

These LEDs also indicate whether one or two B-Channels are engaged on a data call.

Directory Numbers

Two directory numbers are assigned to a standard ISDN Service. Additional directory numbers (to a total of 8 on the service) may be available through your service provider.
