The OPEN824W is scaleable, cost-effective and easy to use. The OPEN824W is the ideal data data and voice communications solution for meeting the business needs of today and for the future. As a high performance ADSL / ADSL 2+ gateway offering high data transfer rates and increased bandwidth, including a built-in IEEE 802.11g wireless access point, the 824W supports standard SIP, suitable for IP telephony service deployment. This will be required for tomorrow ’s SIP-based communication networks.

Featuring stateful packet inspection and denial of Service (DoS), the 824W provides state-of-the-art firewall performance and robust security against hackers, intruders and other threats. Add to this that each SIP number can be assigned to either of the two phone ports individually, or to both ports simultaneously. Billing and deployment are simplified as subscribers can use two phones with the same SIP number. Additionally, the lifeline support option allows users to maintain a PSTN phone service and VoIP service at the same time.
